Dual Wavelengths; High Performance
The combination of high-performance dual wavelengths (532/1064) and the proprietary long-pulsed Nd:YAG technology provides faster, more efficient clearing of targeted lesions.
The highly absorbed 532 nm wavelength has proven effective for a variety of on superficial vascular lesions. It is especially effective on conditions including rosacea, diffuse redness, acne scarring, visible dilated facial capillaries, and telangiectasias.
The 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength expands treatment capabilities to include deeper darker vascular lesions including leg and periorbital veins as well as cherry angiomas,venous lakes and venous malformations. The Nd:YAG is also utilized to perform Cutera’s signature Laser Genesis procedure.
Proven Results
In a split face, side-by-side clinical study published in the Journal Dermatologic Surgery*, the 532 nm KTP laser system was at least as effective as, if not more than, the 595 nm pulsed-dye laser in all study participants with facial telangiectasia and telangiectatic erythema (redness). The same study also demonstrated that the 532 nm KTP laser system provided faster, more efficient clearing of targeted lesions and improved patient comfort.

Although results can be seen with a single treatment, for best results patients will usually undertake an initial course of 6 treatments. To get the best results from a course of Laser Genesis treatments we would also recommend you to use some cosmeceutical skin care products to ensure your skin is both in a healthy state and has the nutrients to produce good quality collagen.

This step is required to ensure the best possible treatment outcome is achieved and to avoid any unnecessary complications.
As with all of our more advanced skin rejuvenation treatments we also recommend a minimum of 2 DMK Enzyme Therapy treatments are performed to ensure the skin’s circulatory system is working optimally to provide the skin with the oxygen require for a good wound healing response and for the production of new collagen which is required to create the supporting structure to help tighten the skin. You will also be required to follow our post care instructions.

Acne Photofacial
Our popular Acne Photofacial is a safe and proven effective alternative to oral medications such as antibiotics or roaccutane for mild to moderate inflammatory and hormonal acne without the nasty side effects associated with systemic oral medications.
Light-based systems emit safe pulses of light energy to eliminate the acne causing bacteria (Propionum acnes bacterium). The light energy is directed at the affected pores, triggering a photoelectrochemical process that kills bacteria and reduces acne severity in the skin, the light also helps to heal exisiting lesions and improve scarring.
A course of treatment is required, twice weekly sessions for 2-4 weeks is recommended (depending on severity. More session may be required. Maintenance session may be required every 4-6 weeks. We have found as acne is an internal disorder, with a holistic approach results will be enhanced and will be maintained with the inclusion of specialised acne cosmeceuticals and the appropriate internal supplements which are all available for purchase at the clinic and will be recommended where appropriate.

Alkaline Wash Hair Removal
An effective hair removal procedure to remove fluffy fine facial hairs (Peach Fuzz), the alkaline wash softens, swells and dissolves unwanted facial hair and dead skin cells.
The DMK Alkaline Wash system is a remarkable treatment for all areas of the face and body, designed to reduce fine, downy hair. This type of hair is very difficult to remove with other methods as the growth is usually dense and would take a long time to treat with electrolysis. It is also not suitable to be treated with IPL or Laser because it has no colour for the laser to target. Alkaline Wash can remove large areas of hair in one treatment without discomfort, in comparison to other hair-removal systems. It also works well when combined with electrolysis and laser when there is both fine downy hair and coarser hairs in the one area. After your first treatment, the hair will grow back at its normal rate, but as treatments progress the hair regrowth rate will become slower and the hair will weaken; usually resulting in a permanent reduction in growth over a period of time.
The treatment is completely pain-free, however in some cases the area can appear red and warm which is normal and will subside after a short period of time. We do require for you to purchase both the DMK Beta Gel and Contraderm when commencing Alkaline Wash hair removal treatments with us as part of the treatment protocol ensuring the risk of complications such as skin irritation is minimised.
