Depending on the clients individual concerns, multiple treatments may be needed to achieve desired results and this will vary according to what is being area is being treated, the amount of skin laxity prior to commencing the treatment, the clients age and individual metabolic response and the condition of the skin. It is very important for a positive outcome that the skin has been prepped with the recommended active skin care to support new collagen and skin tissue production as well as avoid any unwanted complications such as hyper-pigmentation. Treatments are performed at 6-8 week intervals, and it is strongly recommended to have a minimum of 2 DMK Enzyme Treatments prior to commencing Plasma treatments to ensure the skin is healthy and functioning at an optimal level to favor fast wound healing and increased collagen production.

Minimal downtime experienced post Plasma Fibroblast treatment can include mild swelling for a couple of days, with the formation of small superficial scabs from the carbon dots. It is imperative in the weeks both prior and following the treatment, sun exposure to the area is avoided and protection of the area continues indefinitely  in order to preserve the new juvenile collagen that is being produced and to avoid any discoloration issues to the treatment area. Visible results can be seen with one treatment and a gradual improvement will continue to be seen over the months following the treatment.
